The Difference Between Mitt Romney and John F. Kennedy (Other than the fact that Kennedy served his country in wartime while Mitt Romney ducked out of the draft.)

http://exmormon.org/phorum/read.php?2,388354,389581

is that Catholics do not require their privileged rank-and-file members to repeatedly re-enact a secret ritual in which they solemnly covenant the following:

"LAW OF SACRIFICE"
"You and each of you do covenant and promise that you will sacrifice your time, talents and all you may now or hereafter become possessed of to the upbuilding of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."'

"All bow your heads and say yes."

PATRONS: "Yes."

"You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the Law of Consecration as contained in this, (The Officiator holds up a copy of the Doctrine and Covenants again.), the Book of Doctrine and Covenants, in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion."

"Each of you bow your head and say "yes."

PATRONS: "Yes."
(endowment ceremony, 1984-1990)

Mormons do. Mitt Romney went through the temple ceremony as early as 1966, so he most certainly solemnly covenanted both agreements with Mormon God. We all know that to a TBM, "God trumps Government" any day of the week. The implications of that are much different than they were with Kennedy's mere membership in the Catholic church.

Mormons Lie. Here's a whopper about their magical underwear caught and corrected.

Lie, dissemble, deflect hard questions.....

An exchange about magical Mormon Underwear that was posted on Occupy Wall Street's dot Org forum. It does not represent the thinking of Occupy Wall Street by the way, just the thinking of some users of its forum.

As to be expected a Mormon tries to lie about the magical underwer but is put straight.

I'm a mormon and I can tell that there are too many misunderstandings here. If you have just a little of judgement, you'll see that everything cited above is completely out of context.
For exemple, the 'magic underwear'. What the hell is that crap of magic underwear? We just call them garments, and they are not magical at all, nobody in the LDS Church believes that. I WEAR IT, so I can speak with property about it.Every religion has clothes that have special religious meaning...just look at a catholic priest, how does he dress? For sure that black thing has some special religious meaning...I don't know what is that meaning, but I'm not going to start to call it "magic black overcoat" or whatever. The jews have special clothes like the kippah (the little hat) and other things, the muslims and so on. For the mormons, the undergarment symbolizes our priesthood and the covenants we made with god, like the baptisms. It's a symbol, just a symbol, and is not magical or bulletproof...I can't believe that there are so many people who believes that thing! It's absurd. Guys, go check the official websites...there are thousands of FAQs there...Our clergy is 100% voluntary...our bishops work as businesman, mailmans, in the army, in banks, in big4s (like me) and so on...would it not be weird if I went to work with a religious clothe? That's why we use it bellow our clothes...
It amazes me how many people believes those ridiculous myths like the 'magic underwear'...hahahaha...it's absolutelly childish!!

Sorry, english is not my native language and that phrase would make sense in my language. Sorry.
I wanted to say that I really know what I'm talking about because I'm a mormon for a long time and I wear the undergarments, I know exactly what is its purpose and meaning. And again, the whole thing about the 'magic underwear' is completely absurd. Really, when people talk or ask me about this I tell them "dude, do you really believes in this fairy tale?".
Myth, fairy tale.
Oh, one last thing: the same is true for the other things mentioned in the post...
[-] 2 points by alouis (1530) from New York, NY 7 months ago
Yeah, right. The Mormons never practiced polygamy, never restricted black people in their church, never mandated racial segregation where they wield secular power, and keep no secrets from outsiders. Next case...

(Mormon missionaries being instructed in evasion and dishonesty.) Thanks for "the milk". http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110429222408AAFS9cb
mag·ic/ˈmajik/ Adjective: Used in magic or working by magic; having or apparently having supernatural powers: "a magic wand". Noun: The power of apparently influencing the course of events by using mysterious or supernatural forces.
So, by this definition, yes Mormons do believe in magic underwear. Mormons will tell you that they are a reminder of their beliefs, and that is true, to a degree. They are told in their Mormon temples that they represent the clothing given to Adam and Eve by god after they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden to be a protection from evil.
This is what Mormons are told when they are given the underwear in the Mormon temple.
Brother _, under proper authority, the garment placed upon you is now authorized [for and in behalf of _, who is dead], and is to be worn throughout your life. It represents the garment given to Adam when he was found naked in the garden of Eden and is called the garment of the holy priesthood.
Inasmuch as you do not defile it, but are true and faithful to your covenants, it will be a shield and a protection to you against the power of the destroyer until you have finished your work on the earth.
Mormons who tell you that it is not for protection either forgot what they were told (which is understandable since a lot happens at once in there and it is hard to remember it all) or they are not telling the truth. But either way, the truth is that is that yes they do have magic underwear.

The Hatred of Democracy and Christianity is Fundamental to Mormonism. Read Orson Pratt.

Mormonism is profoundly anti democratic. It features a living prophet, one Thomas S. Monson, known to Mitt Romney and his other followers as "prophet, seer, revelator."

“Any people attempting to govern themselves by laws of their own making, and by officers of their own appointment, are in direct rebellion against the kingdom of God.” - Orson Pratt, on again off again follower of the Original Mormon liar Joseph Smith and one of the first thirteen Mormons.

Oh Orson Pratt he had ten wives.

Orson Pratt quotes
Any people attempting to govern themselves by laws of their own making, and by officers of their own appointment, are in direct rebellion against the kingdom of God.

Who is Sheldon Adelson,- The Bibi Connection

The short answer is he is a fanatical right wing Zionist who has made billions of dollars from gambling and it seems prostitution also. He is being investigated by the authorities in China where he has the biggest casinos on earth, because they say they found 100 prostitutes working in one of them and they are investigating his ties to organized crime in ChinaThe US Justice Department and the Securities Exchange Commision are investigating also.
Adelson is of the opinion that Obama is not sufficiently compliant with Israel's wants and needs (Adelson is an unabashed Israel firster).
Read about him and his shabbos goy Romney here on this blog. It's a matter of the life and death of your country.

Sheldon Adelson's  and Bibi Netanyahoo's favorite shabbos goy Newt Gingrich was an epic fail and they've gone to plan B- Mitt "The Mormon" Romney

The Bibi Connection

“US President Barack Obama is ‘naïve’ and needs to face up to the threat presented by the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood across the Middle East, Israel’s National Security Council concluded during a strategic discussion several days ago,” Israel Hayom reported.
The Israeli National Security Council consists of Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu’s closest advisers. And Israel Hayom is not just another right-leaning Israeli tabloid. Referred to by Israelis as the “Bibiton,” or Bibi’s mouthpiece, the paper is an instrument that gives him extraordinary political leverage. The obviously planted article in Israel Hayom rang like a bell sounding the start of Netanyahu’s own campaign in helping the Republican Party oust Obama from the White House.
Israel Hayom’s genesis demonstrates the depth of Netanyahu’s connections in Republican circles. It was created by one of Netanyahu’s top financial supporters, a Las Vegas-based casino tycoon named Sheldon Adelson, who is also a major donor to the conservative wing of the Republican Party. Adelson’s closest relationship is with former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, a longtime ally of Netanyahu who has been running a rancorous campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.
Netanyahu’s less than subtle intervention has become an open issue in Israeli politics. Opposition leader Tzipi Livni of the Kadima Party has criticized Netanyahu for damaging the US-Israeli relationship. “Netanyahu spoke about consensus,” Livni said in May, “and if there is a consensus in Israel, it’s that the relationship with the US is essential to Israel, and a prime minister that harms the relationship with the US over something unsubstantial is harming Israel’s security and deterrence.”
But Livni’s warning has been ignored. Rather than hesitating, the prime minister and his inner circle are moving full steam ahead in their political shadow campaign whose ultimate goal is to remove Obama. Bibi’s war against Obama is unprecedented. While Israeli prime ministers have tried to help incumbent presidents, none have ever waged a full-scale campaign to overthrow them.
Netanyahu has engaged enthusiastic allies in the Republican Congress, led by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, and within the right-wing media. His neoconservative allies in Washington are launching a “Super PAC” to generate emotional attack ads against Obama and any candidate that might be an obstacle to his policies. And his campaign has even broadened into an attempt to discredit The New York Times, whose editorial page and foreign policy columnists, Thomas Friedman and Roger Cohen, have been critical of him.
Netanyahu’s shadow campaign is intended to be a factor in defeating Obama and electing a Republican in his place. He opposed Obama’s early demand to freeze settlements on the West Bank as a precondition for reviving the peace process, a process since the Oslo Accord that Netanyahu has attempted to stall or sabotage, despite his signing of the Wye Agreement under pressure from President Clinton. Since his adamant stand against the settlement freeze, Netanyahu has undermined every effort to engage the peace process. He appears dead set on consolidating Greater Israel, or what many Israelis call “Judea and Samaria,” and has signaled a strong desire to attack Iran.
By all accounts, Netanyahu’s personal chemistry with Obama is toxic. Obama bristles at his belligerence. But Netanyahu’s hostility has reaped rewards from him, having stopped the peace process in its tracks. The latest effort by the Quartet seems doomed to failure. And Netanyahu’s rejectionism has put Obama on the defense. Most of the US Jewish establishment has remained a bulwark for Bibi’s policies. Obama, meanwhile, has been forced to declare America’s “unshakable bond” with Israel, even as Bibi thwarts Obama’s initiatives and attacks him in the Israeli press.
As political strategy, by tainting Obama as less than full-throated in support of Israel, Netanyahu bolsters the Republican themes that the president “apologizes” for US power, is weak on national security, and is an agent of “decline.” By depicting Obama as “weak” on Israel, Netanyahu’s campaign excites right-wing Jews and evangelical Christians, who overwhelmingly accept the biblical claims of the Jewish state’s historical right to Greater Israel, Judea and Samaria. Bibi’s deepest attack line against Obama merges theology with ideology.
His campaign against Obama is a high-stakes gambit that will almost certainly color US-Israeli relations well past Election Day. Already, Netanyahu has succeeded in polarizing the political debate, as his agenda is singularly aligned with the Republican Party. Yet Bibi’s short-term objectives are rapidly turning the US-Israel relationship, at least under his aegis, into a partisan issue, another litmus test of conservative ideology rather than national interest.

Ron Paul and Barack Obama Under Attack By Israeli Firster in Las Vegas

16th Richest Man in the World Destablizes American Politicians Who Shun Israel First Policies

by Johnny Punish

Sheldon Adelson, Las Vegas casino and hotel magnate, has been secretly funding a new Super Pac for Israel to fight against Presidential Candidates that don’t tow the Israeli first line.
This week, they are targeting Ron Paul. Paul has been touting new foreign aid based on the principle that we need to spend our money at home and not in lands far far away. This translates into billions taken away from Adelson’s beloved Israel which is has been the # 1 recepicient of U.S. citizen tax dollars for decades.
Next up, Adelson the the Israel Super Pac will take dead aim at President Obama who has never been 100% on board with his Israeli first agenda.
Now in the RT video clip below journalist Max Blumenthal exposes Israel‘s increasing role in American politics.
Unfortunately that video is not available.

Adelson Willing to Spend $100 Million to Beat Obama

The Adelson story starts at 4:54 minutes.

Billionaire casino owner ups political donations to $36 million with big gift to Romney's Super PAC.

Las Vegas Sands Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson speaks at a news conference for the Sands Cotai Central in Macau Wednesday, April 12, 2012.
Billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson just donated $10 million to Mitt Romney's Super PAC, and told Forbes he is willing to spend $100 million or more to ensure President Obama is not re-elected.

Adelson is by far the biggest political donor inAmerican politics. Before this latest contribution, he had given more than $26 million to Super PACs in 2012, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. That includes the $21.5 million he gave to Newt Gingrich's Super PAC, which single-handedly kept the former House Speaker's presidentialcampaign alive. He's also given $1.3 million to state politics over the years.
While the amount Adelson is willing to spend is staggering, $100 million in political contributions would not put a dent in his largesse. His $25 billion net worth makes him the world's fourteenth-richest person, according to Forbes. To Adelson, $100 million is less than one half of one percent of his net worth—spending it would be the equivalent of a family worth $250,000 spending $1,000.
Adelson's wealth comes from his casino empire in Las Vegas and Southeast Asia. His company, The Las Vegas Sands Corp., brought in $9.4 billion in 2011, according to financial filings.
Politically, Adelson's donations have been heavily Republican. His most pressing concerns, perhaps the driving issues behind his political giving, have been the support of Israel and what he called Obama's 'socialist-style economy.'

ADELSON CASINO EMPIRE INVESTIGATED FOR MOB TIES, PROSTITUTION

Gingrich & adelson
Newt Gingrich and Sheldon Adelson

The Securities and Exchange Commission and Department of Justice have been investigating allegations of ties between Sheldon Adelson’s Macau casino and Chinese organized crime rings and prostitution for the past year. ABC News reports a former Sands Casino executive has charged that the Asian business operation relied on the Chinese triads which organized junkets for “high roller” gamblers and prostitution to service their “other” needs. It reports that on the same day Adelson arrived for a major business meeting at the Chinese enclave 100 prostitutes were arrested within the hotel. The charges are being investigated under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which governs crimes like corporate bribery.

Newt Gingrich, not one to observe the highest standards of ” family values” himself with his three wives and history of philandering, might want to explore whether this represents the highest standards of moral values for a Republican presidential candidate. And if it doesn’t trouble Newt, it might trouble some Republican primary voters. They might want to spend a moment thinking how many acts of prostitution or bribery contributed to the $10-million (the largest private gifts ever-given in U.S. campaign history) Adelson has funneled into Gingrich’s campaign, with the likelihood of tens of millions more should his fair-haired goyproceed farther in the primary process.
To see how Adelson has gamed another political system as a model for what he’ll do here in the States, we have to look no farther than his pimping for Bibi Netanyahu over the past decade or more.  It is far cheaper to buy the Israeli political system than America’s.  All Adelson needed to do was bankroll a new, free newspaper, Yisrael HaYom, to the tune of $40-million annually.  The paper was Bibi’s alter ego.  Just imagine the Washington Times with infinite resources, free, and distributed nationally.  That’s what the Israeli paper’s role is inside Israel.  Bibi himself credits it with creating a permanent rightist majority in Israeli politics.  The result is the worst political and media system money can buy.  Is that what we want here in America?
I don’t begrudge Adelson’s his constitution-given right to influence the electoral process with his contributions (though I do begrudge the absurd ruling of the Supreme Court which turned Presidential elections into Las Vegas casino-style politics). Nor do I begrudge Gingrich the right to accept gifts from donors. After all, “money is the mother’s milk of politics” to quote California’s Big Daddy Jess Unruh. But my problem is with WHO he’s taking the money from and how much he’s taking.
If Supreme Court justices, Congress members, and the U.S. voter don’t all understand the perniciousness of a presidential candidate running a successful candidacy through the support of a single fabulously wealthy, and arguably corrupt individual, then they will get the leader they deserve and the country’s stature in the world will decline even faster than it would under otherwise natural processes.
The Newt-Adelson relationship reminds me more and more of Citizen Kane, in which Charles Foster Kane runs for governor on the strength of his fabulous riches, only to be derailed by exposure of his moral failings. The difference for Newt is that his money man has infinitely deep pockets and Americans have shown themselves willing to overlook Newt’s moral peccadilloes (so far).

ADELSON HAS SWITCHED TO MITT THE MORMON WHO NOW IS SHELLY'S FAVORITE SHABBOS GOY.

He's ready to spend $100 million or more to make the Obama Justice Department go away.

Mitt Romney: Adelson's Shabos Goy

Orthodox Jews have restrictions on what they are permitted to do on Saturdays. For example they may not turn on a light switch or a television or open a refrigerator door. The job of Shabbos Goy is a special occupation, often held by teenagers earning spare cash. Colin Powell, as a youth worked as a Shabbos Goy in what was then a  mixed lower middle class neighborhood in The Bronx. Mario Cuomo, Martin Scorsese and even Elvis presley once were Shabbos Goys.

Now, in a political sense, Mitt Romney has become the full fledged Shabbos Goy of Sheldon Adelson.

Adelson is a fanatical billionaire right wing gambling mogul/zionist. He owns casinos in Nevada and in Macau, China where his wealth is centered and where he might have gotten himslef in a bit of trouble with the Obama Justice Department.
Adelson would like to see that particular problem go away. Amoral religious liar Romney is now his man. Gingrich true neither to any of his wives, nor any of his churches nor to his country has been replaced.

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

If Adelson had had his preference Newt Gingrich would be the presumptive Republican nominee for president and chief Shabbos Goy. Adelson in fact bankrolled the famous Gingrich campaign video that correctly slammed Romney as a cold blooded vulture capitalist. Addelson wants a president who will ask "how high" when Israel tells him to jump, and if possible also ask permission to return to the ground. Obama has not exactly fit that bill. He has been quarrelsome and reluctant to commit to another war to benefit Israel, this one against Iran.

Adelson of course would prefer to own the next president and by extension the Attorney General too.  He has replaced liar Gingrich, who has never been true to his wives, his churches or his country in time of war (like Mitt Romney who demonstrated against anti Vietnam War protesters but couldn't be bothered to serve as his peers were being compelled by law to do.)

This job of being a Shabbos Goy doesn't always get respect. Now John McCain is piling on:

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/06/15/mccain-slams-adelsons-foreign-money/

McCain slams Adelson's 'foreign money'

(CNN) – The influx of cash to Mitt Romney's campaign operation from billionaire casino owner Sheldon Adelson doesn't sit well with Sen. John McCain, a Romney supporter and longtime advocate of campaign finance reform.
The Arizona Republican said in an interview Thursday that Adelson, who reportedly dropped $10 million into the pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future this week, was indirectly supplying the American campaign with foreign money.
– Follow the Ticker on Twitter: @PoliticalTicker
– Check out the CNN Electoral Map and Calculator and game out your own strategy for November.
"Much of Mr. Adelson's casino profits that go to him come from this casino in Macau," McCain said in an interview on the PBS "NewsHour."
McCain continued, "Maybe in a roundabout way, foreign money is coming into American political campaigns."
Adelson is the chairman and CEO of the Sands Corporation, which owns three casinos in Macau along with multiple properties in Las Vegas. The Sands Macau opened in 2004, followed by the Venetian Macao in 2007 and the Four Seasons Hotel Macao in 2008.
Macau, an administrative region of the People's Republic of China, is known for attracting tourists from mainland China and other parts of Asia with large Vegas-style casinos, along with hotels and clubs.
McCain said profits from Adelson's Macau casinos were substantial.
"That is a great deal of money. And, again, we need a level playing field and we need to go back to the realization that Teddy Roosevelt had that we have to have a limit on the flow of money, and that corporations are not people," McCain said.
The last line – that corporations are not people – takes a direct swipe at Romney, who McCain endorsed in May and who uttered the line "corporations are people my friend" at the Iowa State Fair in August.
Romney was making the point that profits from corporations benefit the people who work at them, but Democrats and his then-rivals in the GOP took aim, portraying the candidate as out of touch.
Adelson, who previously supported the super PAC backing Newt Gingrich, was reported earlier this week to have donated $10 million to the group backing Romney. That would bring his total donations this election cycle to more than $30 million, an enormous sum but a drop in the bucket for a man whose estimated worth is more than $24 billion.
